The highlights come from the famous works of art- you know which ones I’m talking about -also the French and Italian paintings are worth the visit - the layout of the building is not the best - best experience is towards the end of the day (fewer crowds) - it took us about 3 hours - i thought the audio guide was very difficult to use - there is a category for an exhibit number but the exhibits don’t have numbers - the audio tour guide was not intuitive - the museum is worth the trip - see the Orsay first

I found this museum hard to navigate. Many stairs on every floor and a rather oddly shaped hall. We, like others, spent a lot of time reading maps. There were not enough docents to guide people. The exhibits are phenomenal but their descriptions are in French. The audio guide is an additional fee and did have different languages recorded.
