I’ll admit that we glossed over more than we should have here in order to loop through Marie Antoinette’s experience twice. The history is very well told and the exhibits nicely displayed. To see items that belonged to her in her final days was a moving experience. The perspective is appropriate and respectful - it didn’t seem sensationalized or embellished. There’s a calm reverence here.
A really cool building, has some pontential, but there isn't a whole lot to see here. We chose this because we thought the kids would enjoy it, but they were disappointed.
We thoroughly enjoyed our visit. The information was clear and easy to follow. It was a very good way to learn about the history of the revolution years.
