I have waited my whole life to go up the Eiffel Tower and it was a lovely experience. The queues were long but that did not matter.

The Iron lady is still stunning but is going through much needed painting, so there is lots of netting around. Views from the 2nd floor are still amazing.. The city of Paris looks amazing from there.Be prepared for long lines. due to 2 security checks, even with skip-the-line tickets!!

The experience of climbing the tower and the view from the top was incredible. What has dropped a star from me is the queue to get from the 1st floor to the top, there was no indication of this or how long it would take and it felt a bit disorganised. It was worth it but I would advise to be prepared to wait and make sure you take snacks, especially if you have children with you! Also, be aware of pick-pockets in the area.
