great place to visit no lines not to crowed beautifully preserved easy walk through but a real off the beaten path gem do miss the chapel next door
The building outside is impressive. Here you see where Marie Antoinette was imprisioned, if these stone walls could talk. Just walk around and take it all in.
The Palais de la Cité is one of the most significant historical sites of the country. I found the visit very disappointing. There is little explanation. I rented an "histopad" for 5 euros but this added very little to my visit. If possible I would recommend a guided tour, or alternatively watching a documentary on this very interesting place. Go to the Sainte Chapelle instead.
